JESSE FASSLER

CLUB DIRECTOR
HEAD COACH

Coach Fassler grew up in Lafayette, Colorado and graduated from Centaurus High School in 2007. His own Track career began in elementary school and continued through college at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. During his time as a student-athlete, Coach Fassler competed in the USATF National Championship three times (once for Cross Country, twice for Track,) Colorado High School State Championships for both track and cross country for all four years of high school, then went onto PSU with an athletic scholarship.

Coach Fassler and his wife, Stephanie, live in Erie with their three young children--Owen, Sophie, & Cole. When not on the track or at other local races, you can find the Fassler family at Owen's soccer games, Sophie's dance recitals, or out fishing and enjoying Colorado.

From Coach Fassler : "I coach to be a positive role model for young student-athletes. I believe communication, responsibility, respect, teamwork, dedication, work ethic, and resiliency are key leadership traits which propel you to be successful in both sports and life. I approach coaching with enthusiasm and I encourage each student-athlete to lead with their best effort."

WHY NAMED ROCK CREEK TRACK CLUB?
RCTC Trail2.png

Inspired in November 2021 while running on the Rock Creek trail, the Trail runs through parts of Superior, Louisville, Broomfield and Lafayette where it joins with Coal Creek Trail and continues to Erie.
Coach Fassler has always wanted a youth program to these surrounding communities where he grew up.
"I felt there was a need to start a Track and Field program for new youth and experienced athletes, and look forward to the years ahead."

The RCTC Wolf Pack was created for Elementary, Middle, and High School athletes that are new or experienced in Cross Country and Track & Field at the Club level. Our team consists of members that are from various schools around the Boulder County area and we work to develop each athlete in their respected events.
