TRACK & FIELD

More information on Track and Field Series can be found below!

Track & Field has many opportunities for competitions during the year!

Spring season (February-May) is when students will compete for their respected MS or HS teams under CHSAA guidelines. 
       **Elementary / MS / HS Students that DO NOT have a school team can train with RCTC! If your student DOES have a school team, we encourage you to participate through their team.  

Once the Spring season ends, Summer begins (May-August) and there are over a dozen summer competitions for those that are beginners to those that are elite. 

Fall season is Cross Country running (August-November) but there are additional opportunities to condition for indoor track with the XC team. Please reach out for more information on conditioning.  

Winter begins indoor Track & Field season (November-February) where there are more opportunities to compete for all levels.   

RCTC accepts student-athletes at all times, even mid season!

1:30 - MS Invite Distance Race
      - 100m Dash
      - Field Events: Throw, Long
          Jump, Vertical Jump
      *MS also Triple Jump & Shot
         Put Throw
      - MS Invite 4x200m relay
      - 400m Run
      - 200m Dash
      - 800m/1600m Run
4:45 - Track Closed
Summer Track and Field 

May 8 - August 18, 2023

Track Meets Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays (schedule released at later time)

RCTC offers training 3 days a week indoors for short sprints, plyometric jumps, strength training, weight room (MS/HS students) and athletic development.  
Rock Creek trail is just outside the door for distance runners and a beautiful 400m hill for sprints!
