Winter Track and Field 

Indoor Track and Field - Schedule

USATF will not host meets in CO this season. Please reach out about other opportunities.  
 

RCTC 2025 Winter/Indoor Season (Distance)

Schedule
 

  • Begins Wednesday, January 1st (special fun holiday session)

  • Ends Sunday, March 2nd

  • 3 Days Per Week:

    • Tuesdays: 5-6:30pm @ Niwot High School Track

    • Thursdays*: 7-8:30pm @ NoCo Performance/The Athlete Hub  (1623 Vista View Dr, Longmont). This is generally an athletic development session (strength/speed/agility).

      • *On the following Thursdays, we’ll be at the Colorado School of Mines indoor track meets instead: 01.16.25, 01.23.25, 01.30.25

    • Sundays: Generally 8-10am @ varied locations (parks/trailheads), but we try to be flexible in case we’ll have much better weather in the afternoon.

  • There will be additional indoor and outdoor meet opportunities (generally Saturdays/Sundays) as well. 

Cost

  • $500 registration fee for the 9-week Season (includes indoor facility rental costs, plus USATF registration and tech tee/uniform for new athletes)

  • The registration fee does not include meet/race entry fees.

Schedule

  • 3 Days Per week:

    • Thursdays 7:00-8:30  @ NoCo Performance/The Athlete Hub  (1623 Vista View Dr, Longmont). This is generally an athletic development session (strength/speed/agility).

    • Sundays 10:00-12:00 @ Peak to Peak HS (Lafayette) *Locations may vary depending weather

Spring is our primary unified team season with
Special Olympics Colorado on Tuesday & Thursday

RCTC will host 3 youth Track meets during the Spring!
Registration is free for RCTC Club members



RCTC offers training 4-5 days a week for athletic development - short sprints, plyometric jumps, and strength training 


Make up Track Meet from 4/21 to 4/28 will NOT take

place. 

Last meet Sunday 5/5

Approximate order of events (rolling schedule):

1:00p - Volunteers arrive

1:15 - Track opens

1:30 - 1600m run (MS Long Jump can begin)

       - 50m Sibling Race (U6 not in other events)

       - 100m Dash

       - 45 Minute Track break for field events

           (athletes can still complete events past 45 minutes)

       - 4x100m Relay

       - 400m Run

       - 200m Dash

       - 800m Run

       -*NEW 1K Steeplechase run ('23 hurdle)

4:45p - Track Closes

Summer Track and Field 

2024 Tentative Summer Schedule 
*USATF JO Region 10 Championships will be held in CO this year!
*USATF JO National Championships - TEXAS
*AAU JO National Championships - NORTH CAROLINA

RCTC will NOT host a 2024 Summer Track & Field season in Erie. 
*Feel free to contact Coach Fassler for virtual training/assistance.
